Belly Dance

Egypt is the center of the world of belly dance. Raqs Sharqi developed in Egypt and many of the popular folkloric dance styles also emanate from Egypt. The world's most famous costume designers are in Egypt and it's impossible to walk through Khan El Khalili Bazaar without seeing a multitude of costumes or costume parts. Of course high quality professional costumes are not pandered on the street to tourists - you have to know where to go to find them.
